Helping Others Get Their Grub On

Well – we are smack dab in the middle of the holiday season already. Where has the year gone?! If you’re like most people I know, your schedule is getting packed with parties, get togethers, shopping lists, and a heap of other things that suck up your time and your wallet. I’d just like you to take a moment to think about one thing. Since you are reading this right now, there is a good chance your are blessed. When I say blessed I’m not saying that you are necessarily rich or that you are living the life of your dreams. It is likely though, that you have a roof over your head, food to eat, and the ability to access a phone, computer, or tablet. That is more than can be said for a large majority of people right here in our local areas. I’d ask that you just take a moment to consider volunteering or helping our in some way. There is a need out there and it can be very fulfilling to help. I recently helped out at a local food bank and I was floored by the need in my own community. That is only going to get worse with the massive destruction caused by the wildfires. Give it some thought, do what you can, and at the very least be kind.
